Analysis Report *

This report does not provide a warranty or guarantee concerning the compliance status of the equipment checked in the submitted tests. The code samples used as a basis for analysis are representative of the code executed by the system in normal operation, but may not encompass each and every time-related function present in the tested systems. The analysis represents an opinion based on the code samples and information collected, and is intended for use as input into a risk management process.

Code Sample Summary

Probe User: WSP Business Technology User

Project: Bird’s Eye Walls

Site Reference: Gloucester

Domain: Engineering

Asset Number: DT_Item_1

Equipment Category: Electrical Motor Drive

Equipment Make: Danfoss

Equipment Model: VLT 3000

Firmware Version: 175H2601.175C0937

Serial Number: not recorded

IC List

CPU (u20) 68008

RAM (u8) 6116

Automatic Validation Results

Overall Conclusion

[ ] Inconclusive based on sampled information provided

[X] No detected evidence of RTC or date in memory

[ ] No detected evidence of date comparison in any code sample

[ ] Detected evidence of date comparison, correct implementation

[ ] Detected evidence of date comparison, incorrect implementation

Analysis Report

Analysis of the contents of system memory showed activity in a number of areas. Detailed examination of this activity showed that the system is maintaining no elapsed seconds counters or date/time structures in memory.

It is therefore totally unlikely that the system can or will suffer any sort of date-related failure.

[X] No detected evidence of RTC or date in memory

[ ] No detected evidence of date comparison in any code sample

[ ] Detected evidence of date comparison, correct implementation

[ ] Detected evidence of date comparison, incorrect implementation

Analysis Report

The RTC chip on the Siemens CPU card was not accessed by the applications software.

Analysis of the contents of system memory showed activity in only one RAM chip, at very few locations. . Detailed examination of this activity showed that the system is maintaining no elapsed seconds counters or date/time structures in memory.

It is therefore totally unlikely that the system can or will suffer any sort of date-related failure.

[ ] Detected evidence of date comparison, correct implementation

[ ] Detected evidence of date comparison, incorrect implementation

Analysis Report

Analysis of the contents of system memory showed a high rate of activity in the RAM chip, at many different locations. Detailed examination of this activity showed that the system is maintaining a two-byte elapsed tenths-of-seconds counter, but no date/time structures in memory. The counter will wrap around every 1.8 hours, so cannot be used for date or time of day functions.

It is therefore totally unlikely that the system can or will suffer any sort of date-related failure.
